I know that it doesn't seem possible, but Fall & the Christmas season aren't all that far off, the kids in my school district go back in less than two weeks. Yikes where did this summer go so quickly?
With that in mind I thought I'd start looking for more toys and projects for the upcoming seasons. I found this free toy bank pattern over a Rockler's website, a free pdf pattern is availible here or you can also view it in HTML format here.
The pattern looks fairly straight forward, and you can purchase the brass door to make a bank like in the photo. You could also make your own door, or it could just be left off, as many trucks of the day were either open backed/canvas tarped or had small tailgates. However you decide to make it, it's a cute little vintage "C" cab type truck from a bygone era that someone you know will be glad to get, however you decide to make it!
